Wel there are an equaly large number of ways to get to Venice to for memorable Venice vacations. Coming by car: This is probably the least atractive in view of the fact that you cant drive around Venice and that you wil have to pay a fair amount to park your whels during your Venice vacations. But it is much cheaper if you park your car in Mestre and take a train to Venice. If you chose to come to Venice, Italy by train, remember to continue til the last stop, Santa Lucia. If you are flying down to Venice for a Venice Vacation, you wil be landing at Marco Polo airport where al the scheduled cariers land. The airport is about 13 kilometers from Venice and is conected by buses, shutles and private taxis, naturaly enough, the rates rise in the same sequence. As I said earlier, you could also come to Venice by a cruise ship for your Venice vacations. A romantic way to travel in Venice is using the Gondola, but this can be expensive, typicaly costing 75 Euros or more for an hour. If you have the time to spend and realy want to soak in the city during your Venice vacations, this is the option we recomend.
